Pianist Nadine Satamian, began her piano studies at the age of 5 in her hometown of Pasadena,California. She studied with Manami Kawamura at Pasadena City College where she received her Associate of Arts Degree in Music with awards such as The Music Teachers Association Award for Unusual Promise in the Field of Piano Performance, and 2nd Prize Winner for the Fritzie Culick Piano Award. Her studies continued at Azusa Pacific University where she received her Bachelor’s of Music Education, studying under Joel Clifft. As a recipient of two scholarships, she gave her first solo piano recital at Munson Chapel. Nadine holds a Master’s in Piano Performance from Azusa Pacific University, studying under Andrew Park and Micah Yui.
During her time at Azusa Pacific University, Nadine sang and performed as a soprano in the University Choir, as singing is one of her greatest passions. She has led the group piano classes at the Azusa Conservatory and stood as an accompanist for vocalists and instrumentalists. A passionate chamber musician, Nadine has collaborated with musicians from around the world. She has performed in masterclasses with Gergely Kovaks, Daniel Paul Horn, Susan Boettger, and Luigi Borzillo.
In 2024, Nadine was invited to tour Europe, where she performed solo works in “Great Concert Hall” Târgu Mureș, Romania and in Haydnsaal Esterházy Palace, in Austria, where she also performed in a master class with Luca Monti. In honor of her outstanding talent and achievement, Nadine was selected to perform at the prestigious Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York. Her dedication, artistry, and exceptional skill has earned her the opportunity to share her performance on one of the world’s most iconic stages.
Nadine has participated in festivals including The Montecito International Music Festival and NCKP (The National Conference on Keyboard Pedagogy) where she performed in a masterclass with Alexandre Dossin.
Alongside her private studio, Nadine is a music teacher in Sierra Madre and Pasadena, California. She looks forward to growing her musical knowledge so she can bless others through music.
