Misha Bigos

Misha Bigos started piano lessons at age nine but was an uninspired student until he discovered jazz at age seventeen and joined his high school jazz band. He majored in music at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington where he began playing professionally. After graduating he worked as a pianist on cruise ships for two years, sailing around North, Central, and South America. In 2012 Misha moved to Los Angeles to earn his Master’s in jazz piano from the University of Southern California. While at USC, he formed a group called Sophisticated Lady and recorded two albums for the Yarlung Records label.
